Pushcart Nominations 2013

Since opening our inboxes in April of this year, we've received some wonderful literary works. It was incredibly difficult to determine which pieces to nominate for the Pushcart Prize, so we chose works that still crossed our minds long after their publication.

We're proud to announce our 2013 nominees:

Poetry

"Window Unit, 1962" by Dr. William Miller (Published in Issue 13.1).

"The Guitarist" by Tom Hooten.

Fiction

"Fever" by Diane Thomas-Plunk (Published in Issue 13.1).

"Calamity James" by Kurt Schuett (Published in Issue 13.2).

Non-fiction

"Exceptions" by Brittany Kirkland (Published in Issue 13.2).

Congratulations!
