Tidal Ignition

by Scott Thomas Outlar

Neon fluorescent sparks
burning bright
from the heart of the sun
crash hard
against my soul
pulling me down
with the undertow
where I can drown
in the safe waters
of the source
from which I came

Scott Thomas Outlar spends the hours flowing and fluxing with the ever changing currents of the Tao River while trying to align the best he can with the Holy Spirit Vibration. His words have appeared recently in venues such as Yellow Chair Review, Syzygy Poetry Journal, Dissident Voice, Sonic Boom, and Clockwise Cat.
